What is the Market Dashboard?

The Market Dashboard is an in-platform tool that allows you to filter markets and categories to quickly identify opportunities, mitigate risks and optimize your sourcing strategies across your portfolio.

What can I do with the Market Dashboard?

With the Market Dashboard, you can filter our entire Procurement Report collection by the following preset filters to target markets based on your procurement needs:

Purchase environments that are projected to worsen over the next year.

Purchase environments that are projected to improve over the next year.

Low Supplier Diversity

Markets with few opportunities to source from women-, veteran- and minority-owned businesses.

High Supplier Diversity

Markets with strong opportunities to source from women-, veteran- and minority-owned businesses.

Low Supply Chain Risk

Markets with low supply chain risk.

High Supply Chain Risk

Markets with high supply chain risk.

Low BPS

Seller’s markets where the current year Buyer Power Score is less than or equal to 0.

High BPS

Buyer’s markets where the current year Buyer Power Score is greater than 0.

Cost Saving Opportunities

Markets with increasing buyer power, high price volatility and declining price forecasts that enable proactive cost reduction.

Sustainable Sources

Markets with high vendor risk, high market share concentration and medium-to-high ESG trends that support due diligence on ethical sourcing.

High-Risk Suppliers

Markets with decreasing buyer power, high average vendor risk, high market share concentration and rising prices that signal the need for negotiations or contracts before costs increase.

Low-Risk Suppliers

Markets with decreasing buyer power, low market share concentration and low supply chain risk that support competitive bidding and spending consolidation.

Additional features include:

  • Filter by region: Switch between US and European categories and markets in the menu at the top right of the tool.

  • Filter by category: Use the dropdown menu at the top of the tool to narrow your results by specific categories.

  • Sort columns: Click column headers to sort the data table according to your needs.

  • Search: Use the data table’s built-in search bar to quickly find specific markets or reports in your list.

  • Watchlist: Add markets to your Watchlist directly from the data table by selecting the bookmark icon to the left of the market’s row in the table. You can view all the markets in your watchlist by selecting the Watchlist tab in the menu at the top right of the tool.

How can I download report lists?

You can download the report list from the Market Dashboard as a CSV file. Apply your desired filters, then select CSV at the bottom left of the data table. The exported file will include the filtered data.

Is the Market Dashboard replacing the Data Wizard?

The Market Dashboard is a temporary replacement for the Data Wizard. A more advanced version of the Data Wizard is in development.

How often is the data updated?

The data in the Market Dashboard reflects the most recent data in our Procurement Reports.

Does the Market Dashboard support Europe and Canada?

The Market Dashboard supports Europe, but not Canada. To switch to the Europe view, you can select EU in the upper right corner of the tool.

Can I save multiple different views using the Watchlist?

This feature is currently unavailable, but we intend to track its interest and may explore adding it in the future.

How can I add a report to my Watchlist?

You can add a report to your Watchlist from the Market Dashboard or within a Procurement Report.

From the Market Dashboard

Select the bookmark icon to the left of the first column in the table:

Select the plus (+) icon in the right-hand toolbar.
