Introducing Procurement Plus

Learn about ProcurementIQ’s upcoming move to the IBISWorld platform.

Updated over 2 months ago

What is Procurement Plus?

Procurement Plus is the upcoming relaunch of ProcurementIQ’s reports on its parent company IBISWorld’s platform. Clients will gain enhanced functionality, expanded content and a more streamlined experience.

Why is this change happening?

We’re moving to IBISWorld’s platform to give you a faster, more intuitive research experience. The platform is built for speed, usability and interactivity, so you can:

Find what you need faster

A streamlined, user-friendly platform with a dashboard-style view that makes it easier to search, track trends and manage categories.

Access richer, centralized insights

Explore 2,000+ new pricing and wage driver profiles, expanded cost structure data and deeper visibility into average prices and wage rates.

Improve transparency and decision-making

Leverage detailed breakdowns and expanded data to strengthen should-cost models and identify cost-saving opportunities with greater clarity.

Will the format of Procurement Reports change?

Procurement Reports will maintain the same chapters and information. However, we're refreshing the report design to include more impactful charts and data, a cleaner look and feel and dynamic tools for comparisons and drilldowns.

How will I access the new platform?

Once Procurement Plus launches, you will be able to log into the IBISWorld platform using your existing ProcurementIQ credentials.

If your organization also subscribes to IBISWorld or uses SSO, IP-based login or encrypted links, a few additional steps are required. Our team will send detailed instructions to your account admin before launch to ensure a smooth transition.

Will this affect my contract with ProcurementIQ?

No. Your contract with ProcurementIQ and its parent company, IBISWorld, will remain unchanged.

Will there be any downtime during the transition that might affect my ability to access procurement reports?

No. There will not be any downtime during the transition.

Will I be able to access the old ProcurementIQ platform after the transition is complete?

No. Once the transition is complete, the old ProcurementIQ platform will no longer be accessible.

All of your Procurement Reports and tools will be available on the IBISWorld platform.

Will Procurement Reports still be listed by sector?

No. We’re updating our report organization to better align with the United Nations Standard Products and Services Code (UNSPSC) system.

Reports will now be grouped to align more closely with UNSPSC segment and family names instead of sector names, making it easier to browse the collection and find reports using market-standard labeling.

All Procurement Reports will still be available, but you may need to look under new segment names when browsing the full list.

Will Procurement Report codes change?

We are only updating three report codes to create consistency across US, Europe and Canada collections.
